Skull and Bones: How To Get Lime

Skull and Bones is bursting with crafting materials to help you improve your ship, weapons, and armor to become a high-powered terror on the seas. Some materials are easier to find than others and are handily marked on the map, whereas others require a bit of digging. As one of the trickier materials to find at first, you might be scratching your head wondering how to find Lime in Skull and Bones, despite it being a core ingredient of many crafting recipes.

If you're looking to craft a Sloop ship in Skull and Bones from its blueprint recipe, chances are you'll be searching for Lime as one of the primary ingredients. Lime also appears in other types of crafting recipes, such as in weapons and armor, making it an invaluable resource to have on hand once you know how to get it.

Unlike other crafting resources like Cobalt, it's unlikely you'll find Lime as a harvestable resource out in the wild. Instead, there are a couple of reliable ways to get Lime in Skull and Bones:

  • You can buy it from vendors called Leaders at certain outposts, like The Navigator's Cross outpost in Jiwe, an Ungwana military camp northwest of the Islands of the Moon, as pictured above. Lime costs 90 silver each, so it's not too pricey to buy, but it could prove expensive if you need a lot.

  • Alternatively, you can attack certain ships to get Lime and destroy or board them. Your best bet is to search for Confederation of Ungwana ships in Skull and BonesJiwe region towards the northwest of the map near the coast of Africa. You can spot these ships via their yellow-green designs and use your spyglass to check for those transporting Lime.

These Ungwana Burner ships can prove tough to fight and are often equipped with fire weapons, so be prepared with fire resistance or to repair your ship with Skull and Bones' Repair Kits as needed. Once defeated, you can fish Lime out of the water as usual. However, other ships that can carry Lime include aggressive and often high-level Privateer ships that can be significantly challenging to take down.

In Skull and Bones, Lime is a specialized material used to craft various items, from ships like the Sloop to weapons, ship furniture, and some armor like The Bastion I. However, before you can craft such items and see which ones require Lime, you'll need to track down the relevant blueprint. It's worth stacking as much silver as possible as you increase your Infamy in Skull and Bones. It's also worth buying blueprints as you go to save time, so that you've got as many crafting recipes at your fingertips as possible.
