Pokemon has been urging us to catch 'em all for decades and given us a variety of ways to do it. You can catch 'em all in video games, collect trading cards, or actually leave the house and hunt them down in Pokemon Go. Some might say that's the closest method there is to feeling like a real-life Pokemon trainer. To those people I would say collecting Pokemon plushes, while potentially more expensive depending on your penchant for Pokecoins, is far closer to replicating the impossible feeling of having your very own Pokemon.
Plushes have been a core part of the Pokemon experience for so long, it's likely close to impossible to catch 'em all at this point. Hundreds of Pokemon have their own plushes, some have multiple, and the majority will be hard to find outside of paying through the nose for them on resale sites. That's okay though as new Pokemon plushes are coming all the time, and the latest added to the Pokemon collection is a massive Clodsire.
The Pokemon Center's 21-inch Clodsire plush is so new that it's currently not appearing when you search for it on the site. No need to worry as you can go straight to its store page by clicking the link in the box below. More than twice the size of the only other Clodsire plush currently available through the Pokemon Center, the new Clodsire has its poison points on show, and it's going to cost you $49.99 if you have the space for it and you'd like to make it part of your collection, or a part of the furniture since it's big enough to function as a small chair.
Clodsire Plush
The Pokemon Center's Clodsire plush is 21 inches long and nine inches high. One of Pokemon's bigger plushes, it showcase the Pokemon while using poison point.
$50 at the Pokemon Center
Despite its size, the new Clodsire is a long way off being the biggest Pokemon plush on the market. A recently restocked Psyduck plush, likely revived due to the popularity of Pokemon Concierge, has Clodsire beat by a full ten inches. There's also a 39-inch Spheal, a 57-inch Wailord, and a huge 71-inch Furret. Furret's plush has all the others beaten when it comes to length, but I'm fairly confident the bulky Spheal and Wailord options are bigger if we're going by volume.
If you need another reason to add Clodsire to your Pokemon plush family, doing so between now and April 8 will get you a little something extra. The Pokemon Center is currently giving away a Yamper plush with all purchases over $40. Since Clodsire is $50 all by itself, you should get Yamper free when you add it to your cart. The Yamper should also show in your cart if the free gift has been applied, so double-check it's there before you pay.
