There are a total of four Legendary Pals in Palworld that you will encounter while exploring. They are listed at the bottom of your Paldeck and feature a second passive ability called Legend. This exclusive Passive Skill increases the Legendary Pal’s attack, defense, and movement speed.
Unfortunately, capturing the Legendary Pals in Palworld is not easy since these beasts can deliver insane amounts of damage using their potent skill set and attacks. All of these are level 50 Alpha Field Bosses, and if you are significantly below this level, the difficulty will be too much for you to survive against them.
Among the four legendary Pals, Frostallion and Jetragon will be scattered at different ends, whereas you will end up fighting Necromus and Paladius in the same area of the Palapagos map.

Luckily the legendary pals in Palworld respawn so if someone else in your server kills or captures them, you can go to their locations later and try capturing them yourself.

Paladius (No. 108)
Make your way to the Northwestern section of the map until you reach the Deep Sand Dunes Waypoint. From there, you need to go in the northern direction to reach coordinates [445, 680] to face the Holy Knight of the Firmament, Paladius, in Palworld.
To capture Paladius, make sure to bring the best pals with you to increase your chances. Some recommended choices are:
- Necromus
- Frostallion Noct
- Shadowbeak
This specific Legendary Pal belongs to the category of Neutral Type Pals in Palworld, so the abovementioned dark pals will greatly help tackle it on the battlefield.
Paladius is quite useful as a mount, allowing you to triple jump while mounted. So, you should keep it in your arsenal if scouring the Palpagos Islands is your favorite thing to do.

If Paladius is killed in the combat, it drops Pal Metal Ingot, Ancient Civilization Partss, Diamond, and Large Pal Soul.
Necromus (No. 109)
Travel to the Northwestern section of the map until you reach the Deep Sand Dunes Waypoint. From there, you need to go in the northern direction to reach the following coordinates labeled [445, 680] to face the Dark Knight of Legend, Necromus, in Palworld.
Necromus is a Dark elemental Pal, and obviously, weak to the Dragon element. So, you should consider using the following Dragon pals against this beast:
- Jormuntide Ignis
- Astegon
- Jormuntide
This Legendary Pal excels greatly in combat, with an overpowering HP boost and versatile attack types. Whether you are facing normal enemies or Alpha pals, Necromus will always help you survive until the end. It is also an excellent mount, which lets you reach higher grounds by using its ability to double jump in Palworld.

If Necromus is killed in any way, it will drop Pal Metal Ingot, Ancient Civilization Parts, Precious Entrails, and Large Pal Soul.

Frostallion (No. 110)
Head towards the Northwestern direction, and once you reach the Land of Absolute Zero Waypoint, simply head west to reach these coordinates [-358, 509] to encounter the Legendary Steed of Ice, Frostallion, in Palworld.
The Legendary Pal Frostallion resembles Pegasus from Pokémon and is a formidable pal for you to face. This one can use a variety of attacks such as Ice Missiles, Crystal Breath, etc., which can stack up pretty easily to cause significant damage.
Being an Ice-Elemental Pal, the natural weakness for Frostallion will be the Fire-type in Palworld. So, consider bringing the following to increase your capture chances:
- Jormuntide Ignis
- Suzaku
- Blazamut
Frostallion can change your attacks into Ice-type, which can be handy in certain gameplay situations. Apart from that, it has level 4 Cooling suitability and can also be used as a mount.
If you kill Frostallion instead of catching it, you will obtain some loot items including Diamond (x2), Precious Entrails (x14), Ice Organ (x20), and Ancient Civilization Parts (x14).
Jetragon (No. 111)
Head toward the West end of the map and in the volcanic region. There you will come across a Volcanic Cavern (lv 40). You need to look for the mineshaft entrance by roaming the overworld area, and you will encounter Jetragon around the obsidian mountain area.
Head west from the Mount Obsidian Midpoint waypoint to reach Jetragon’s location at these coordinates [-791, -318] in Palworld.
As a Dragon-type pal, Jetragon is weak when it’s fighting against Ice pals. So, other than preparing your nerves for the encounter, your first priority should be bringing the most combat-oriented Ice pals. We recommend the following:
- Frostallion
- Sibelyx
- Ice Reptyro
Jetragon, the Legendary Celestial Dragon, like all of its counterparts, is a level 50 Pal, having a variety of attacks and Active Skills. Once it is captured, you can use its Partner skill Aerial Missile, which lets you double jump while mounting the pal.
You can also fire the Jetragon Missile Launcher while mounted on this specific pal as well to launch multiple missile attacks and inflict massive damage on enemy Pal.

Killing a Jetragon nets you some amazing loot, such as Ancient Civilization Parts (x18), Precious Dragon Stone (x21), Pure Quartz (x30), and Polymer (x15).
