Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections First DLC Fighter Revealed, Confirms Leak

Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections' first DLC fighter has been revealed to be Hagoromo Otsutsuki, which seemingly confirms an earlier leak that detailed every character coming to the first season pass.

It's been a couple of months since the launch of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, and fans of the game have not-so-patiently been waiting for an announcement regarding the DLC characters coming to the game. It's felt like an unusually long wait to hear about more, but we finally know what to expect from the season pass.

Over on the official Naruto gaming Twitter, an image was shared that reveals the first character of the season pass is none other than Hagoromo Otsutsuki, who fans of Naruto will remember played a key part towards the end of Shippuden. The tweet reveals that Hagoromo is currently aiming to be released at some point this month, with the final character of the pass releasing by Fall 2024.

Although it's great to see Hagoromo Otsutsuki confirmed to be coming to the series as a playable character for the first time, his announcement is even more interesting because it actually seems to confirm a leak from around the time the game launched that revealed all of the fighters coming as part of the first season pass.

That leak suggested that Hagoromo would be joined by Isshiki Otsutsuki, Kurenai, Kawaki (Karma), and Boruto (Momoshiki). The leak even managed to predict that Hagoromo would be the first one revealed and released in the season pass, which lends more credence to it being an accurate leak. We'll know for sure when the second character is revealed, but for now it certainly seems true.

As we mentioned before when we reported on the leak, this season pass is likely to be a bit of a mixed bag for fans, as the two Otsutsukis are pretty obvious choices, as is the Karma version of Kawaki and the Momoshiki variant of Boruto. The only big surprise of the bunch is Kurenai who, despite being a big deal in pre-timeskip Naruto, has somehow not made a playable appearance in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series so far.
