While the big names like Iron Man and Captain America are turned into Funko Pops all the time, you have to wait for a convention to roll around for some of the deeper cut Marvel characters to get the Funko Pop treatment. Lucky for you, New York Comic-Con is right around the corner, and we've got some new Marvel Pops to reveal that will be released as part of the convention that kicks off on October 9.
Four Marvel characters will not only be getting Funko Pops during this year's NYCC, but all of them will be making their Pop debuts. Those four characters are Bedlam, Knull, Nimrod, and Havok. Nimrod and Havok are best known as X-Men characters, while Knull and Bedlam are heavily linked to Marvel's brooding band of symbiotes.
Symbiotes And Mutants Are Being Turned Into Funko Pops For New York Comic-Con
Knull
Marvel/Funko
Knull is probably the best-known character of the four new Funko Pops, largely due to some recent appearances on the big screen and references in Marvel Rivals. The creator of the symbiotes' first-ever Funko Pop features Knull gripping his necrosword, the All-Black. Knull's Pop is a standard size and will cost $15, releasing during NYCC weekend.
Bedlam
Marvel/Funko
Sticking with symbiotes, Bedlam will also make their Funko Pop bow at NYCC. If you think Venom, Carnage, and the other symbiotes you've seen on the big screen so far are scary, you're probably not familiar with Bedlam. Even in Funko Pop form, it's plain to see just how menacing he is, even when compared to his own kind. The four-armed Pop is a blend of Venom black and Carnage red and will also be available during NYCC for $15.
Havok
Marvel/Funko
The other two NYCC Pops we can exclusively reveal are pulled from the X-Men wing of the Marvel multiverse, starting with Havok. Only 3,000 Havok Pops will be sold, and they'll cost $30 due to their limited availability. The X-Men character's first-ever Pop features the powerful mutant in his blue and yellow suit, incorporating his powers into the look with translucent yellow rings around his hands.
Nimrod
Marvel/Funko
Last but most definitely not least is Nimrod. If you're not familiar with the X-Men mech, you might assume, based on their soft pink and white color scheme, that they're more friend than foe. That's where you're wrong. Nimrod is one of the biggest threats ever posed to Marvel's plucky team of superhero mutants. A descendant of the ever-present Sentinels, Nimrod is pretty much indestructible. Its Funko Pop won't be, of course, especially when this figure is limited edition – only 4,000 of them will be sold – and costs $25.
Even though all four of Marvel's newly-revealed Funko Pops are branded as NYCC exclusives, some, if not all, of them will be available to buy through Funko's website during NYCC weekend for those who won't be there in person. There are sometimes exceptions that will be revealed closer to the event.
